Attention Leadmine trail users!   Below is an important message from the Trails Committee regarding the access to certain trails in town.

The Hamant Brook dam removal project on the Leadmine (OSV) property will start next Monday September 18. During the construction period the 10 OSV Road trail access will be closed to all trail users and parking, as will the Morgan and Old Growth trails, along with the northern end of the Arbutus Park loop trail. Access to these areas will be signed CLOSED!  Trail access will still be open at both 10 Shattuck Rd and 197 Leadmine Rd.

PLEASE be safe and stay out of the construction area! As the construction progresses updates will be posted and project tours are also being planned. Dam removal is expected to take 70 days, with final plantings next spring.THANK YOU for your cooperation!
